Happy New Year – Let’s crush it!

Wow – 2023 is here!

First day of the new year always gives me some sort of mental empowerment. Obviously after recovering from a sleepless night, having breakfast and drinking black coffee. Then I feel I can continue my life story in a new chapter. It’s an exciting feeling, nearly as exciting as the feeling of starting a new diet from ‘Monday’. You know, when you forgive yourself all the lovely rubbish food you’ll eat today. Why? ecause the next day you’ll be a new person with a new goal to achieve. So everything is forgiven, feels good, right?

This year, dear busy people, there is no time to waste for the jo-jo effect of missed goals and procrastination. Let’s Crush the 2023 with a good measurable roadmap.

Looking Back

I’ve never been a person who planned my whole life with a pen and paper in hand. Just a person who really enjoyed my spontaneous lifestyle. My mindset changed when, as a mum, I discovered the power of so called ‘me time’ – LOL! I realised quickly that in order to enjoy this luxury time I needed to create a very effective plan. Good that will get me to this luxurious mindset of freedom. On top of that I wanted to have time for my professional development and business too.

Over the last years I tested a few planners that allegedly works for busy people. those that worked well on some aspects were missing others, and I not only found it challenging managing a few diaries at the same time but also my enthusiasm decreased every time I thought I need to find an hour to fill the planners in. I passionately don’t like investing my precious time into unnecessary, time consuming activities! So I decided to do goal boards instead. One for children and one for me, and find one diary for my personal and professional development.

The Goal Board – The Hassle Free Excuse  (Do it once and be free for 12 months!)

I absolutely love creating goal boards with children and my other half. If you never don’t it I invite you to try it – it’s a great family bonding activity. It really works well when you need to say ‘no’ to kids on some demanding purchases. You can say ‘well, if you want mummy to buy you …..(this) then I think we won’t be able to do …..(this) next month, so you tell me which one you really want’? Then you appraise kids for sticking to their goals. Or you get home and cross the goal off from the board. And never reverse your decision!

In the first week of January, my children and I sat together and listed all places we want to visit. This included things we want to do in the coming year.

Equally the same enthusiasm kicked off for me and my other half. The excitement of planning trips abroad, events, parties, business goals and scheduling time around those, was truly priceless.

The Diamond Planner

My busy woman’s list of demands to please is long. My planner must include things like:

  • My BOLD statements of my intentions and mission statement for the year
  • Daily routine, affirmations, gratitude
  • My long term goals – I always dream big, and always achieve my goals
  • My harmony on all levels and space for setting my goals for each one of the 12 areas
  • My financial strategy, skills, people, habits
  • Mindmap and action plan
  • Review, monthly and weekly plan space

When I clear my mind from all the things I truly desire to achieve, my mind is free from clutter. Then I know how much time I have left to do other things. How fast I can be on my path to achieve my goals and on which days I’m the most productive.

the most productive. My Diamond Planner for busy woman is planner like this one. I love it because it’s easy to manage, has pinpointed information ticks all the boxes for me. It easily helps me to be laser focused on mine, family and relationships goals. Supports in managing time very effectively too. It also looks very professional and pretty cool at the same time. If you get the same, let me know your feedback.

Remember – You Can Do It & You Will

It feels good when your dreams come true. This is what I wish you, my Busy Readers, to achieve this year the most.
